Market News That Matters
MLB Walks Back Woke Policies
Major League Baseball has systematically stripped "diversity" language from its corporate communications, revealing a quiet retreat from divisive DEI practices. Internal documents show a strategic shift towards merit-based recruitment, prioritizing athletic performance over demographic quotas. Sources within the organization confirm what conservatives have long argued: talent and skill should be the only metrics that matter.

Warner Bros. DEI Shift: Just a PR Stunt
Warner Bros. Discovery claims to be rethinking its DEI policies, but in reality, little has changed. The same quota-driven system remains—just repackaged to appease critics.
This isn’t genuine reform; it’s a calculated move to deflect backlash while keeping the same ideological framework in place. Hollywood isn’t backing away from activism—it’s just getting better at hiding it.

Our Take: Disney’s Latest Remake: A Lesson in Missing the Point
Disney’s live-action Snow White remake has stumbled at the box office, earning just $43 million against a staggering $350 million production cost. But beyond the financial misstep, the film exposes a deeper issue—Hollywood’s relentless push to erase classical femininity in favor of a one-size-fits-all, “girlboss” mentality.
Rachel Zegler, the actress cast as Snow White, made headlines when she declared that the original fairy tale was outdated and that Snow White wouldn’t be “saved by a prince” in this version. But why is Hollywood so determined to rewrite classic heroines into something they were never meant to be? Snow White’s kindness, grace, and quiet strength have made her an enduring character for generations. Yet, instead of celebrating these virtues, Disney seems embarrassed by them.
Zegler’s social media controversy only reinforced this disconnect. She wished that Trump supporters "never know peace"—a shocking statement coming from someone playing a character meant to represent warmth and goodness. Hollywood claims to champion inclusivity, yet it increasingly sends the message that if you’re not loud, rebellious, or aggressively independent, you are weak and worthless.
True femininity has always encompassed a broad spectrum—grace and resilience, kindness and courage. But modern Hollywood has reduced it to a single archetype: the defiant, anti-traditional woman who must reject classic values to be seen as strong. That’s not empowerment; it’s erasure.
The backlash against Snow White proves that audiences are rejecting this hollow messaging. People don’t want re-educations from Hollywood; they want stories that uplift, inspire, and respect the values that made them timeless. Perhaps it’s time for Disney to remember that strength comes in many forms—and that rewriting the past won’t change the truth.
